Training to Health Workers on HIV Care and ART Tracking Syste
National Center for AIDS and STD Control (NCASC) carried out training on HIV Care and ART Tracking system (DHIS2) in seven provinces of Nepal. It has planned to cover all ART sites of the country.
Province 1 in Biratnagar on 17-19 April 2019
Province 2 in Pathalaiya on 21-23 April 2019
Province 3 in Kathmandu on 8-10 April 2019
Province 5 in Butwal on 12-14 May 2019
Province 4 in Pokhara on 21-23 May 2019
Province 5 and Karnali in Nepalgunj on 30 May - 1 June 2019
Province 7 in Dhangadi on 3-5 June 2019
The ART counselors, medical recorders and data capturer were the participants of the training. The objectives of the training were:
- To orient the participants about HIV Care and ART Tracking System.
- To make the participants able to enrol/register the clients in the developed system (DHIS2 Tracker, mHealth and biometric system) and to eliminate the duplication.
- To demonstrate detail procedure of data entry in the system and develop skill of the participants to use the HIV Care and ART Tracking System effectively.
- To make participants able to generate the dashboard of the key indicators using the system to monitor the program closely at the service site level.
- To make participants able to generate the routine report in standard HMIS template using the system.
