Regional HIV Program Review Meeting Western Development Region, 3-4 July, 2016

National Center for AIDS and STD Control (NCASC) in collaboration with Western Regional Health Directorate conducted two days' Regional HIV Program Review Meeting in Pokhara on 3-4 July 2016. The meeting was participated by all districts of western development
region except Mustang.

The objectives of the Review Meeting:

The total number of participants was 43 (Female 9+ Male 34) representing, 15  District (Public) Health Offices and hospitals providing ART service.

Besides, 3 INGOs (Save the children, AHF and FHI 360).working on HIV in western development region also participated in the program


Director of NCASC, D(P)HO, HIV focal person of WRHD, ART Counselors from hospitals within this region, NCASC GF team, Regional SCI team and INGOs working in the region

District Participated

15 of the total 16 districts of western development region, (Arghakhachi, Baglung, Gorkha, Gulmi, Kaski, Kapilvastu, Lamjung, Myagdi, Manang, Nawalparasi Parbat, Palpa, Rupandehi, Syangja and Tanahun)  participated in the review meeting whereas only one district i.e Mustang did NOT.
